Raj Kundra spoke to Hindustan Times about the viral video and explained what really happened. He said the situation got tense when he found out that their reserved table had been given to someone else, which led to an argument.
“I want to clear the air about the video that’s going around online. I had booked this restaurant a year in advance to celebrate my wife’s birthday. But when we arrived, we were told that our table was already given to another group because of a ‘double booking’ mistake by the agent,” Raj Kundra said in a text message.
He called the incident “very frustrating” and shared that when he and his family tried to talk about the mistake, they were told to stay quiet.
